This is the original ER Diagram that I designed for the 2003 National Speleological Society Convetion's Registration Database. The original database was in First Normal Form and proved difficult to find information in. I offered to redesign the database to one that was simpler with only the fields that were required. There were some modifications to the database later, but this was used to show the Convention Chair and Vice-Chair how the database would be developed and shows the relations between each tables. The other important factor was to ensure that all the necessary information from the registration forms would be recorded in the database.
